Senator Torgerson, Cochair, moved and asked unanimous consent for              
the adoption of the Finance Committee Substitute offered on page               
2927. Without objection, CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 271(FIN)                       
An Act relating to oversight of food establishments by the                     
Department of Environmental Conservation; establishing a Food                  
Safety Advisory Group; and providing for an effective date was                 
adopted and read the second time.                                              
                                                                               
Senator Ellis offered Amendment No. 1 :                                         
                                                                               
Page 2, line 17, change to read:                                               
	(2) charge more than one inspection fee when the department                   
inspects a bar and a restaurant if the bar and restaurant are                
contained in one food establishment, share the same kitchen, and               
are owned and operated by the same person ¦MORE THAN ONE                     
FOOD SERVICE ESTABLISHMENT IF THE FOOD SERVICE                                 
ESTABLISHMENTS ARE CONTAINED IN ONE BUILDING AND                               
SHARE THE SAME KITCHENá;                                                       
                                                                               
Senator Ellis moved for the adoption of Amendment No. 1. Senator               
Taylor objected.
