There being no objection, it appears below: We pause briefly as the day has already begun and our work on behalf of the people of this state swirls around us like a springtime snow. Our light of honor and duty may be behind the clouds of political agenda and personal dreams. We ask, as we move through this day, that the Spirit which was present in the creation of this land create in us a sense of goodwill which puts the necessities of our constituents ahead of our wants. Let us be kind with each other's ideas and proposals, that the result of our work may reflect the freshness of a new fallen snow. When it is time to walk out into the night, may we feel accomplishment with this days efforts, having heard one another and done our best for all Alaskans, present and yet to come. Protect us through the night and bring us safely to our duties again in the morning. Amen The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Representative Cissna. 1999-03-16 House Journal Page 0466 CERTIFICATION OF THE JOURNAL Representative Green moved and asked unanimous consent that the journal for the 56th legislative day be approved as certified by the Chief Clerk.
