The Speaker waived the Judiciary Committee referral for the following          
at the request of Representative Kott, Chair:                                  
                                                                               
CS FOR SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 18(RLS)                                    
Requesting Exxon Corporation to pay claimants for court-ordered               
damages resulting from the Exxon Valdez oil spill.                             
                                                                               
CSSJR 18(RLS) was removed from the Judiciary Committee and                     
referred to the Rules Committee for placement on the calendar.
