HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 57 am Relating to an                                
amendment to the Constitution of the United States prohibiting                 
federal courts from ordering a state or a political subdivision of a           
state to increase or impose taxes, was read the second time.                   
                                                                               
Senator Green, Chair, moved and asked unanimous consent for the                
adoption of the State Affairs Senate Committee Substitute offered on           
page 3789. Without objection, SENATE CS FOR HOUSE JOINT                        
RESOLUTION NO. 57(STA) was adopted and read the second time.                   
                                                                               
Senator Taylor moved and asked unanimous consent that the                      
resolution be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and              
placed on final passage. Without objection, it was so ordered.
