The question being: Shall CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 43(FIN) An Act relating to registration of vehicles, to municipal taxation of vehicles, and to emission control inspection fees for vehicles; and providing for an effective date pass the Senate? The roll was taken with the following result: CSHB 43(FIN) Third Reading - Final Passage Effective Date YEAS: 17 NAYS: 0 EXCUSED: 3 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Adams, Donley, Duncan, Ellis, Green, Halford, Kelly, Leman, Lincoln, Mackie, Miller, Parnell, Pearce, Phillips, Taylor, Ward, Wilken Excused: Hoffman, Sharp, Torgerson and so, CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 43(FIN) passed the Senate. Senator Taylor moved and asked unanimous consent that the vote on the passage of the bill be considered the vote on the effective date clause. Without objection, it was so ordered and the bill was signed by the President and Secretary and returned to the House. SECOND READING OF SENATE RESOLUTIONS SCR 4 SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 4 Relating to declaring March 1997 as Sobriety Awareness Month, was read the second time and was before the Senate on final passage. Senators Halford, Taylor, Leman, Pearce, Green, Lincoln, Phillips, Miller moved and asked unanimous consent that they be shown as cosponsors on the resolution. Without objection, it was so ordered.
