Senator Halford moved that the bill be returned to second reading for the purpose of a specific amendment, that being Amendment No. 1. Without objection, it was so ordered. 1997-05-01 Senate Journal Page 1623 HB 18 Senator Halford offered Amendment No. 1 : Page 2, following line 4: Insert a new bill section to read: "* Sec. 2. AS 36.30.170(h) is amended to read: (h) A preference under (c), (e), or (f) of this section is in addition to any other preference for which the bidder qualifies, including the preference under (b) of this section; however, a bidder may not receive a preference under both (c) and (e), (c) and (f), or (e) and (f) of this section for the same contract." Senator Halford moved for the adoption of Amendment No. 1. Objections were heard, then withdrawn. There being no further objections, Amendment No. 1 was adopted.
