Representative Porter moved that the House concur in the Senate amendment to CSHJR 44(RLS) am, thus adopting SCS CSHJR 44(JUD), and recommended that the members vote yes. The question being: "Shall the House concur in the Senate amendment to CSHJR 44(RLS) am?" The roll was taken with the following result: SCS CSHJR 44(JUD) Concur YEAS: 22 NAYS: 17 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 1 Yeas: Austerman, Barnes, Cowdery, Davis, Dyson, Foster, Green, Hanley, Hodgins, Hudson, Ivan, James, Kelly, Kott, Masek, Mulder, Phillips, Porter, Rokeberg, Ryan, Sanders, Therriault Nays: Berkowitz, Brice, Bunde, Croft, Davies, Elton, Grussendorf, Joule, Kemplen, Kohring, Kookesh, Kubina, Martin, Nicholia, Ogan, Vezey, Williams Absent: Moses And so, lacking the necessary 27 votes, the House failed to concur in the Senate amendment, thus failing to adopt SCS CSHJR 44(JUD). Representative Mulder gave notice of reconsideration of his vote to concur in the Senate amendment to CSHJR 44(RLS) am.
