1998-03-06 House Journal Page 2542 HB 373 The following was read the second time: HOUSE BILL NO. 373 "An Act relating to forests and forestry practices." with the: Journal Page RES RPT CS(RES) NT 4DP 1NR 2402 ZERO FISCAL NOTE (DNR) 2402 1998-03-06 House Journal Page 2543 HB 373 Representative Porter moved and asked unanimous consent that the following committee substitute be adopted in lieu of the original bill: CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 373(RES) "An Act making changes to the Forest Resources and Practices Act; classifying anadromous streams and tributaries; relating to the designation of riparian areas; establishing buffers and slope stability standards on certain streams; and requiring retention of low value timber along certain water bodies where prudent." There being no objection, it was so ordered. Representative Porter moved and asked unanimous consent that CSHB 373(RES) be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final passage. There being no objection, it was so ordered. CSHB 373(RES) was read the third time. **The presence of Representatives Barnes and Hanley was noted. The question being: "Shall CSHB 373(RES) pass the House?"
