Without objection, the Senate recessed at 8:57 p.m. AFTER RECESS The Senate reconvened at 9:18 p.m. President Pearce called the Senate. The call was satisfied. SENATE RESOLUTIONS IN SECOND READING CONTINUED SCR 21 The question being: Shall SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 21 Suspending Uniform Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e) of the Alaska State Legislature concerning House Bill No. 292, relating to searches by peace officers who enforce fish and game laws, to false statements and omissions in regard to application for fish and game licenses, tags, and permits, and to nonresident hunters, pass the Senate? The roll was taken with the following result: SCR 21 Second Reading - Final Passage YEAS: 12 NAYS: 8 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Frank, Green, Halford, Kelly, Leman, Miller, Pearce, R.Phillips, Rieger, Sharp, Taylor, Torgerson Nays: Adams, Donley, Duncan, Ellis, Hoffman, Lincoln, Salo, Zharoff and so, SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 21 failed. Senator Halford gave notice of reconsideration.
