Full Journal pdf1995-03-07 Senate Journal Page 0514 SCR 8 Message of March 1, concerning CS FOR SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 8(RLS) am H Approving the revised open meetings guidelines proposed by the Select Committee on Legislative Ethics, and CS FOR SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 8(RLS) Approving in part the revised open meetings guidelines proposed by the Select Committee on Legislative Ethics, which had been held on the Secretary's desk (page 452) was before the Senate at this time. Senator Halford moved that the Senate concur in the House amendment and recommended the body vote no. The question being: "Shall the Senate concur in the House amendment to CS FOR SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 8(RLS)?" The roll was taken with the following result: CSSCR 8(RLS) am H Shall the Senate Concur in the House amendment to CSSCR 8(RLS)? YEAS: 0 NAYS: 18 EXCUSED: 2 ABSENT: 0 Nays: Adams, Donley, Duncan, Ellis, Frank, Green, Halford, Hoffman, Leman, Lincoln, Miller, Pearce, Phillips, Rieger, Salo, Sharp, Torgerson, Zharoff Excused: Kelly, Taylor and so, the Senate failed to concur. The Secretary was requested to notify the House of the Senate's action and request the House recede from its amendment. President Pearce appointed a Conference Committee under Unfinished Business (page 524).
