for pay differentials as the need arises.  This would make it clear            
that the department has this authority and that criteria for the pay           
differential is not subject to collective bargaining.

SENATE BILL NO. 89 An Act relating to the members of the                       
board and staff of the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation was read              
the second time.                                                               
                                                                               
Senator Halford moved and asked unanimous consent for the                      
adoption of the Finance Committee Substitute offered on page 2654.             
Senator Duncan objected, then withdrew his objection.  There being             
no further objections, CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 89(FIN) was                      
adopted and read the second time.
