Full Journal pdf1995-03-07 Senate Journal Page 0523 SB 78 Senator Sharp offered Amendment No. 1 : Page 1, line 13, through page 2, line 1: Delete "The board may not authorize the stocking of alcoholic beverages in guest rooms unless the holder of the beverage dispensary license also has a minimum number of rental rooms as required under AS 04.11.400(d)(1)." Senator Sharp moved for the adoption of Amendment No. 1. Without objection, the amendment was adopted. SENATE BILL NO. 78 am was automatically in third reading. The question being: "Shall SENATE BILL NO. 78 am "An Act related to the authority of certain beverage dispensary licensees to stock alcoholic beverages in guest rooms and prohibiting certain room rentals for the purpose of providing alcoholic beverages to a person under 21 years of age" pass the Senate?" The roll was taken with the following result: SB 78 am Third Reading - Final Passage YEAS: 13 NAYS: 5 EXCUSED: 2 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Donley, Duncan, Ellis, Frank, Hoffman, Lincoln, Pearce, Phillips, Rieger, Salo, Sharp, Torgerson, Zharoff Nays: Adams, Green, Halford, Leman, Miller Excused: Kelly, Taylor and so SENATE BILL NO. 78 am passed the Senate. Senator Adams gave notice of reconsideration.
