Delete remainder of sentence. Senator Kelly moved for the adoption of Amendment No. 2. Senator Halford objected, then withdrew his objection. There being no further objections, Amendment No. 2 was adopted. Senator Miller offered Amendment No. 3 : Page 1, lines 12 - 13: Delete "collective bargaining agreements and retirement obligations and" Page 2, line 3: Delete "and" Page 2, after line 3: Insert new paragraphs to read: "(3) as a condition of the sale and before the transfer of ownership of the Alaska Railroad, negotiate collective bargaining agreements, including provisions for future retirement benefits if appropriate, with labor organizations that represent employees of the Alaska Railroad; (4) accept assignment of the retirement obligations owed to employees of the Alaska Railroad at the time of transfer of ownership of the Alaska Railroad; and" Renumber the following paragraph accordingly. Senator Miller moved for the adoption of Amendment No. 3. Objections were heard. Senator Phillips moved that he be shown as a cosponsor on Amendment No. 3. Without objection, it was so ordered.
