The roll was taken with the following result: SCS CSHB 137(FIN) Second Reading Amendment No. 15 YEAS: 6 NAYS: 12 EXCUSED: 2 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Adams, Duncan, Ellis, Hoffman, Salo, Zharoff Nays: Donley, Frank, Green, Halford, Kelly, Leman, Miller, Pearce, Phillips, Rieger, Taylor, Torgerson Excused: Lincoln, Sharp and so, Amendment No. 15 failed. SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 137(FIN) was automatically in third reading. Senator Ellis moved that the bill be returned to second reading for the purpose of a specific amendment, that being Amendment No. 16. Without objection, the bill was returned to second reading. Senator Ellis offered Amendment No. 16 : Add new section: "The sum of $310,600 is appropriated from federal receipts to the Department of Health and Social Services, division of family and youth services, to restore and maintain child protection services for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1995." (renumber sections accordingly) Senator Ellis moved and asked unanimous consent for the adoption of Amendment No. 16. Without objection, Amendment No. 16 was adopted.
