The following was again before the House in third reading: HOUSE CS FOR CS FOR SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 12(RES) Relating to the United States Department of Agriculture, Forest Service; relating to the United States Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, strategic plan known as "Reinvention of the Forest Service"; and advocating that implementation of the plan be suspended pending Congressional review and consultation with local governments. Representative Williams moved and asked unanimous consent that HCS CSSJR 12(RES) be returned to second reading for the specific purpose of rescinding action in failing to adopt Amendment No. 1 (page 1388). There being no objection, it was so ordered. Representative Williams moved and asked unanimous consent that the House rescind action in failing to adopt Amendment No. 1. Objection was heard.
