Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative Mulder: Page 5, following line 22: Insert a new bill section to read: "* Sec. 6. AS 33.30.191(a) is amended to read: (a) It is the policy of the state that prisoners be productively employed for as many hours each day as feasible ª, NOT TO EXCEED 40 HOURS A WEEK UNLESS OVERTIME HAS BEEN SPECIFICALLY APPROVED BY THE COMMISSIONERß." Renumber the following bill sections accordingly. Representative Mulder moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Objection was heard and withdrawn. There being no further objection, Amendment No. 1 was adopted.
