Amendment Nos. 2 and 3 were not offered. Representative Brown placed a call of the House and lifted the call. Amendment No. 4 was offered by Representatives Brice and B.Davis: Page 48, line 24, following "award.": Insert "Notwithstanding other provisions of this paragraph, the court may provide in its order that the grandparent's liability for child support payments will increase by up to 50 percent if the grandparent's child does not reside in a place of residence maintained by the child's parent, legal guardian, or other adult relative of the child as the parent's, guardian's, or other adult relative's own home or if the grandparent's child fails, without good cause, to meet adequate levels of school attendance, as defined by the court in its order under this paragraph." Representative Brice moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 4 be adopted. Representative Therriault objected. The question being: Shall Amendment No. 4 be adopted?
