Amendment No. 8 was offered by Representative Kubina: Page 5, line 19, after "AS 14.20.149": Insert "; however, a school district may not nonretain a tenured teacher under this paragraph unless the school district has fully complied with the requirements of AS14.20.149 and unless the district demonstrates by clear and convincing evidence that the teacher's performance does not meet professional performance standards" Representative Kubina moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 8 be adopted.
