The following was again before the House in third reading: HOUSE BILL NO. 540 An Act relating to health care data and registration of births. Representative Brown moved and asked unanimous consent that HB 540 be returned to second reading for the specific purpose of considering Amendment No. 1. There being no objection, it was so ordered. 1996-03-26 House Journal Page 3379 HB 540 Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representatives Brown and Toohey: Page 1, lines 7 - 8: Delete "or its consequences with respect to information provided" Page 1, line 8, following "Services": Insert "or for the use of the data by the department" Representative Brown moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. There being no objection, it was so ordered. The question to be reconsidered: Shall HB 540 am pass the House?
