SENATE BILL NO. 79 was referred to the Judiciary and Finance

Senator Taylor, Chair, moved and asked unanimous consent that the              
Judiciary Committee referral be waived on SENATE BILL NO. 79.                  
Senator Duncan objected, then withdrew his objection.  There being             
no further objections, it was so ordered.

Senator Kelly, Chair, moved and asked unanimous consent that the               
Labor and Commerce Committee referral be waived on CS FOR                      
HOUSE BILL NO. 113(FIN) "An Act regulating the solicitation of                 
contributions by charitable organizations and paid solicitors and the          
solicitation of sales by telephonic means; and amending Alaska Rules           
of Civil Procedure 79 and 82."  Without objection, it was so

returned to second reading for the purpose of a specific amendment,            
that being Amendment No. 1.  Without objection, the bill was                   
returned to second reading.
