SENATE BILL NO. 175 "An Act making appropriations for the                      
operating and loan program expenses of state government and to                 
capitalize funds; and providing for an effective date" was read the            
second time.                                                                   
                                                                               
Senator Pearce moved and asked unanimous consent for the adoption              
of the Finance Committee Substitute offered on page 1102.  Senator             
Adams objected.                                                                
                                                                               
Senator Pearce moved and asked unanimous consent that SENATE                   
BILL NO. 175 be returned to the Rules Committee.  Without                      
objection, it was so ordered.                                                  
                                                                               
HB 64                                                                        
CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 64(FIN) "An Act creating the crimes                      
of stalking in the first and second degrees and providing penalties            
for their violation; providing a peace officer with the authority to           
arrest without a warrant a person the peace officer has reasonable             
cause to believe has committed stalking; relating to the release               
before trial of a person accused of stalking; prohibiting the                  
suspension of imposition of sentence of a person convicted of                  
stalking; relating to the crime of assault in the third degree; and            
providing for an effective date" was read the second time.                     
                                                                               
Senator Pearce moved and asked unanimous consent for the adoption              
of the Finance Senate Committee Substitute offered on page 1689.               
Without objection, SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO.                         
64(FIN) was adopted.

the second time.
