Full Journal pdf1993-05-08 Senate Journal Page 2216 CONSIDERATION OF THE CALENDAR CONTINUED SECOND READING OF HOUSE RESOLUTIONS HJR 11 Senator Taylor moved and asked unanimous consent that HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 11 Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the State of Alaska relating to repeal of regulations by the legislature, be held to the May 9 calendar. Without objection, it was so ordered. HJR 27 HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 27 Relating to an amendment to the Constitution of the United States prohibiting desecration of the Flag of the United States, was read the second time. Senator Taylor moved and asked unanimous consent that HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 27 be advanced to third reading and placed on final passage. Senator Duncan called the Senate. The call was satisfied. A motion was pending to advance HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 27 to third reading. Senator Ellis objected. The question being: "Shall HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 27 be advanced to third reading?"
