HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 62                                                 
Urging the Congress to reevaluate its practice of imposing                    
unfunded mandates on state and local governments.

Representative Davies moved and asked unanimous consent that                   
Amendment No. 1 be adopted.                                                    
Representative Vezey objected.                                                 
**The presence of Representative Nicholia was noted.                           
The question being:  "Shall Amendment No. 1 be adopted?"  The roll

Representative Davies objected and withdrew the objection.  There              
being no further objection, it was so ordered.                                 
HJR 62 was read the third time.                                                
The question being:  "Shall HJR 62 pass the House?"  The roll was
