Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative MacLean: Page 1, line 1, after "paramedics" (title amendment): Insert ", physician assistants," Page 1, line 9, after "paramedic": Insert ", physician assistant," Page 2, line 3, after "paramedic": Insert "or physician assistant" Page 2, lines 11, 14, 18 and 25, after "paramedic": Insert ", physician assistant," Representative MacLean moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. There being no objection, it was so ordered and the new title appears below: "An Act relating to the authority of mobile intensive care paramedics, physician assistants, and emergency medical technicians to pronounce death under certain circumstances."
