RECONSIDERATION HB 386 Representative Ulmer brought up reconsideration of the vote on CSHB 386(L&C) (page 2482). The following was again before the House in third reading: CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 386(L&C) "An Act relating to the retirement rights of temporary hourly employees hired by the legislature." Representative Ulmer moved and asked unanimous consent that CSHB 386(L&C) be returned to second reading for the specific purpose of considering Amendment No. 1. There being no objection, it was so ordered. Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative Ulmer: Page 1, after line 10: Insert "An employee may not be hired as a temporary hourly employee for longer than 200 hours in a calendar year." Representative Ulmer moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted.
