01 Suspending Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State                                         
02 Legislature, concerning House Bill No. 69, relating to education; relating to open                                      
03 enrollment in public schools; relating to school and student performance reports;                                       
04 relating to school and district accountability; relating to charter schools; relating to an                             
05 annual report for correspondence study programs; relating to the base student                                           
06 allocation; relating to reading proficiency incentive grants; relating to wireless                                      
07 telecommunications devices in public schools; relating to the duty of the legislature to                                
08 pass a public education appropriation bill; relating to the duty of the governor to                                     
09 prepare a public education appropriation bill; establishing the Task Force on Education                                 
10 Funding; and relating to a report on regulation of school districts.                                                    
11 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                               
12       That under Rule 54, Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, the provisions of                              
13 Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, regarding                             

01 changes to the title of a bill, are suspended in consideration of House Bill No. 69, relating to                        
02 education; relating to open enrollment in public schools; relating to school and student                                
03 performance reports; relating to school and district accountability; relating to charter schools;                       
04 relating to an annual report for correspondence study programs; relating to the base student                            
05 allocation; relating to reading proficiency incentive grants; relating to wireless                                      
06 telecommunications devices in public schools; relating to the duty of the legislature to pass a                         
07 public education appropriation bill; relating to the duty of the governor to prepare a public                           
08 education appropriation bill; establishing the Task Force on Education Funding; and relating                            
09 to a report on regulation of school districts.
