00                   HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 10                                                                   
01 Proposing an amendment to the Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature relating                                    
02 to resolutions.                                                                                                         
03 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                               
04    * Section 1. Rule 49(b), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, is amended to read:                        
05 (b)  All resolutions passed by one or both houses are sent to the governor as a                                         
06 matter of information and for permanent filing with the lieutenant governor. The clerk                              
07 or secretary shall send [LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR SENDS] enrolled copies of                                              
08 joint resolutions to the federal and other state officers, agencies, and jurisdictions, and                     
09 transmit [. THE TRANSMITTAL OF] copies of all other resolutions to designated                                       
10 addressees within 15 days after the resolution is returned by the governor to the                                   
11 Legislative Affairs Agency. The clerk or secretary shall notify the sponsor of the                                  
12 resolution after sending or transmitting all of the required copies [IS THE                                         
13       RESPONSIBILITY OF THE LEGISLATIVE AFFAIRS AGENCY].
