00                  SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 44                                                                   
01 Suspending Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State                                         
02 Legislature, concerning House Bill No. 307, relating to the Regulatory Commission of                                    
03 Alaska; relating to regulation of public utilities, pipeline carriers, and liquefied natural                            
04 gas import facilities; relating to approval of wholesale power agreements; relating to                                  
05 preapproval for construction of energy facilities; relating to electric reliability                                     
06 organizations; relating to the taxation of new electricity generation facilities; relating to                           
07 the Alaska Energy Authority; relating to the Railbelt Transmission Organization; and                                    
08 requiring the Alaska Energy Authority to submit a report about issuing rate reduction                                   
09 bonds for financing transmission system upgrades.                                                                       
10 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                               
11 That under Rule 54, Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, the provisions of                                    
12 Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, regarding                             
13 changes to the title of a bill, are suspended in consideration of House Bill No. 307, relating to                       

01 the Regulatory Commission of Alaska; relating to regulation of public utilities, pipeline                               
02 carriers, and liquefied natural gas import facilities; relating to approval of wholesale power                          
03 agreements; relating to preapproval for construction of energy facilities; relating to electric                         
04 reliability organizations; relating to the taxation of new electricity generation facilities;                           
05 relating to the Alaska Energy Authority; relating to the Railbelt Transmission Organization;                            
06 and requiring the Alaska Energy Authority to submit a report about issuing rate reduction                               
07 bonds for financing transmission system upgrades.
