00 SENATE BILL NO. 202 01 "An Act renaming Fairbanks International Airport as Don Young Fairbanks 02 International Airport; and providing for an effective date." 03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 04 * Section 1. AS 35.40 is amended by adding a new section to read: 05 Sec. 35.40.405. Don Young Fairbanks International Airport. The state- 06 owned and state-operated international airport at Fairbanks is named the Don Young 07 Fairbanks International Airport. 08 * Sec. 2. AS 44.42.210(b) is amended to read: 09 (b) Before filling, on a permanent basis, the position of chief administrative 10 officer of the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport or the Don Young 11 Fairbanks International Airport, the commissioner shall consult with the board 12 concerning candidates to fill the position. 13 * Sec. 3. AS 44.42.290(1) is amended to read: 14 (1) "Alaska international airport system" means the Ted Stevens
