01 "An Act naming the Vic Fischer Fairbanks International Airport; and relating to the                                     
02 Aviation Advisory Board."                                                                                               
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1. AS 35.40 is amended by adding a new section to read:                                                  
05            Sec. 35.40.133. Vic Fischer Fairbanks International Airport. The state-                                    
06       owned and state-operated international airport at Fairbanks is named the Vic Fischer                              
07       Fairbanks International Airport.                                                                                  
08    * Sec. 2. AS 44.42.210(b) is amended to read:                                                                      
09            (b)  Before filling, on a permanent basis, the position of chief administrative                              
10       officer of the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport or the Vic Fischer                                 
11       Fairbanks International Airport, the commissioner shall consult with the board                                    
12       concerning candidates to fill the position.                                                                       
13    * Sec. 3. AS 44.42.290(1) is amended to read:                                                                      
14                 (1)  "Alaska international airport system" means the Ted Stevens                                        

01       Anchorage International Airport and the Vic Fischer Fairbanks International Airport;
