03    * Section 1. AS 08.68.210 is amended by adding a new subsection to read:                                             
04 (c)  The board may issue a nonrenewable temporary permit, valid for a period                                            
05 not to exceed six months, to a person applying for reinstatement of a lapsed license                                    
06 under AS 08.68.251 if the person meets the requirements established by the board in                                     
07       regulation.
