00 HOUSE BILL NO. 178 01 "An Act relating to village safe water and hygienic sewage disposal facilities." 02 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 03 * Section 1. AS 46.07.020 is amended to read: 04 Sec. 46.07.020. Provision of facilities. The commissioner shall institute and 05 carry out a program to provide for the installation of safe water and hygienic sewage 06 disposal facilities in villages in the state that are necessary to assure that there will be 07 at least one facility for safe water and hygienic sewage disposal in each village. The 08 commissioner shall prioritize projects based on need.
