AS 17.20.085(c) is amended to read: 04 (c) The chief medical officer of the department may issue a standing order, 05 including a statewide standing order, for the prescription of an opioid overdose drug. 06 [A STANDING ORDER ISSUED UNDER THIS SUBSECTION MUST EXPIRE 07 ON OR BEFORE JUNE 30, 2021.] 08 * Sec. 2. AS 17.20.085(d) is amended to read: 09 (d) Annually, on or before October 1, the department shall complete a report 10 describing activities and expenditures related to Substance Abuse and Mental Health 11 Services Administration grants and opioid overdose drug distribution [THE 12 OPIOID EPIDEMIC] and shall submit the report to the senate secretary and chief 13 clerk of the house of representatives and notify the legislature that the report is 14 available. 15 * Sec. 3. Section 2, ch. 1, SLA 2017, is repealed.
