01 "An Act establishing April 24 of each year as Vic Fischer and Jack Coghill Constitution                                 
02 of the State of Alaska Day; and providing for an effective date."                                                       
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1. AS 44.12 is amended by adding a new section to read:                                                  
05 Sec. 44.12.137. Vic Fischer and Jack Coghill Constitution of the State of                                           
06 Alaska Day. Vic Fischer and Jack Coghill Constitution of the State of Alaska Day is                                   
07 established on April 24 of each year to honor Jack Coghill and Vic Fischer and                                          
08 commemorate the creation of the Constitution of the State of Alaska. Vic Fischer and                                    
09 Jack Coghill Constitution of the State of Alaska Day may be observed at school                                          
10       assemblies and by suitable observances and exercises by civic groups and the public.                              
11    * Sec. 2. This Act takes effect July 1, 2021.
