01 "An Act relating to facilities constituting a school; and providing for an effective date."                             
02 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
03    * Section 1. AS 14.17.905(c) is amended to read:                                                                     
04 (c)  Notwithstanding (a)(2) and (a)(3) of this section, in a community with an                                          
05 ADM of greater than 425 that has only one facility administered as a school,                                          
06 excluding charter schools, for students in grades kindergarten through 12, the                                        
07       number of schools for the community shall be counted under (a)(2) of this section.                                
08    * Sec. 2. This Act takes effect July 1, 2022.
