01 "An Act relating to registration fees for snowmobiles and off-highway vehicles; and                                     
02 providing for an effective date."                                                                                       
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1. AS 28.10.421(d)(7) is amended to read:                                                                
05                 (7)  a snowmobile or off-highway vehicle  ......  $20 [$10];                                        
06    * Sec. 2. AS 28.39.020(e) is amended to read:                                                                      
07 (e)  The original and each renewal registration fee for a snowmobile or off-                                        
08 highway vehicle is as provided under AS 28.10.421, except that the fee shall be $40                             
09 [MULTIPLIED BY TWO] for a four-year registration and $50 [MULTIPLIED BY                                             
10       THREE] for a six-year registration.                                                                               
11    * Sec. 3. This Act takes effect July 1, 2021.
