01 "An Act making special appropriations for the payment of permanent fund dividends;                                      
02 and providing for an effective date."                                                                                   
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1. ALASKA PERMANENT FUND. The amount necessary for payment of a                                          
05 permanent fund dividend of $1,600 and for administrative and associated costs, estimated to                             
06 be $1,070,500,000, is appropriated to the dividend fund (AS 43.23.045(a)) for the fiscal year                           
07 ending June 30, 2020, from the following sources:                                                                       
08            (1)  $770,000,000 from the general fund;                                                                     
09            (2)  $172,400,000 from the budget reserve fund (AS 37.05.540(a)); and                                        
10            (3)  the amount necessary, after the appropriations made in (1) and (2) of this                              
11 section, estimated to be $128,100,000, not to exceed $148,100,000, from the Alaska higher                               
12 education investment fund (AS 37.14.750).                                                                               
13    * Sec. 2. LAPSE. The appropriation made in sec. 1 of this Act is for the capitalization of a                       
14 fund and does not lapse.
