01 "An Act making special appropriations for the payment of permanent fund dividends;                                      
02 and providing for an effective date."                                                                                   
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1. ALASKA PERMANENT FUND. (a) The unexpended and unobligated balance                                     
05 of the budget reserve fund (AS 37.05.540(a)), estimated to be $172,200,000, is appropriated                             
06 to the dividend fund (AS 43.23.045(a)) for the payment of permanent fund dividends and for                              
07 administrative and associated costs for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2020.                                           
08       (b)  The sum of $901,470,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the dividend                                
09 fund (AS 43.23.045(a)) for the payment of permanent fund dividends and for administrative                               
10 and associated costs for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2020.                                                          
11    * Sec. 2. LAPSE. The appropriations made in sec. 1 of this Act are for the capitalization of a                     
12 fund and do not lapse.                                                                                                  
13    * Sec. 3. This Act is retroactive to July 1, 2019.                                                                 
14    * Sec. 4. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
