00 HOUSE BILL NO. 2003 01 "An Act making special appropriations for the payment of permanent fund dividends; 02 and providing for an effective date." 03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 04 * Section 1. ALASKA PERMANENT FUND. (a) The sum of $1,000,000,000 is 05 appropriated from the earnings reserve account (AS 37.13.145) to the general fund for the 06 fiscal year ending June 30, 2020. 07 (b) The unexpended and unobligated balance of the budget reserve fund 08 (AS 37.05.540(a)), estimated to be $172,200,000, is appropriated to the dividend fund 09 (AS 43.23.045(a)) for the payment of permanent fund dividends and for administrative and 10 associated costs for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2020. 11 (c) The sum of $901,470,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the dividend 12 fund (AS 43.23.045(a)) for the payment of permanent fund dividends and for administrative 13 and associated costs for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2020. 14 * Sec. 2. LAPSE. The appropriations made in secs. 1(b) and (c) of this Act are for the
01 capitalization of a fund and do not lapse. 02 * Sec. 3. This Act is retroactive to July 1, 2019. 03 * Sec. 4. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
