00 HOUSE BILL NO. 56 01 "An Act establishing May 15 of each year as Hmong-American Veterans Day." 02 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 03 * Section 1. AS 44.12 is amended by adding a new section to article 2 to read: 04 Sec. 44.12.180. Hmong-American Veterans Day. Hmong-American Veterans 05 Day is established on May 15 of each year to acknowledge and commemorate the 06 military service of Hmong-American men and women. Hmong-American Veterans 07 Day may be observed by suitable observances and exercises by civic groups and the 08 public.
