01 "An Act authorizing the University of Alaska to establish, through an agreement with                                    
02 the University of Hawaii, the Ted Stevens - Daniel K. Inouye Exchange Program for                                       
03 political science students at the University of Alaska and the University of Hawaii to                                  
04 commemorate the bipartisan friendship between Senator Ted Stevens and Senator                                           
05 Daniel K. Inouye."                                                                                                      
06 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
07    * Section 1. AS 14.40 is amended by adding a new section to read:                                                  
08            Sec. 14.40.105. Ted Stevens - Daniel K. Inouye Exchange Program. The                                       
09       University of Alaska may enter into a reciprocal agreement with the University of                                 
10 Hawaii to establish the Ted Stevens - Daniel K. Inouye Exchange Program. The                                            
11 purpose of the program is to commemorate the bipartisan friendship between Senator                                      
12 Ted Stevens and Senator Daniel K. Inouye by providing educational services and                                          
13 opportunities for students who are pursuing a baccalaureate degree in political science                                 

01       at either the University of Alaska or the University of Hawaii.
