AS 23.15.835(d) is amended to read: 05 (d) Notwithstanding AS 23.15.840(a), for the fiscal years ending June 30, 06 2015, through June 30, 2020 [2017], the money collected under this section or 07 otherwise appropriated to the Alaska Workforce Investment Board [, FORMERLY 08 KNOWN AS THE ALASKA HUMAN RESOURCE INVESTMENT COUNCIL,] 09 shall be allocated directly in the following percentages to the following institutions for 10 programs consistent with AS 23.15.820 - 23.15.850 and capital improvements: 11 University of Alaska 45 percent 12 Galena Interior Learning Academy 4 percent 13 Alaska Technical Center 9 percent 14 Alaska Vocational Technical Center 17 percent
01 Northwestern Alaska Career and Technical Center 3 percent 02 Southwest Alaska Vocational and Education Center 3 percent 03 Yuut Elitnaurviat, Inc. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section to 08 read: 09 RETROACTIVITY. If sec. 1 of this Act takes effect after June 30, 2017, sec. 1 of this 10 Act is retroactive to June 30, 2017. 11 * Sec. 3. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
