01 "An Act directing the governor to provide notice to the legislature regarding certain                                   
02 information related to regulations; and providing for an effective date."                                               
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1. AS 44.62 is amended by adding a new section to read:                                                  
05            Sec. 44.62.185. Notice to the legislature. On January 1 and July 1, or as soon                             
06       as practicable thereafter, the governor shall deliver to the senate secretary and the                             
07       chief clerk of the house of representatives a report that provides                                                
08                 (1)  a list of each regulation that, as of the date of publication, the                                 
09       governor believes will be adopted in the six-month period following the date of                                   
10       publication of the report;                                                                                        
11                 (2)  a list of each regulation that, as of the date of publication, the                                 
12       governor believes will be amended or repealed in the six-month period following the                               
13       date of publication of the report;                                                                                
14                 (3)  the estimated cost for a state agency to implement, and other                                      

01       agencies to comply with, a regulation described in (1) or (2) of this section.                                    
02    * Sec. 2. This Act takes effect July 1, 2017.
