01 "An Act relating to the exhibition of marked ballots."                                                                  
02 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
03    * Section 1. AS 15.15.280 is amended to read:                                                                      
04 Sec. 15.15.280.  Prohibiting the exhibition of marked ballots.  A [SUBJECT                                          
05 TO AS 15.15.240 A] voter may not exhibit the voter's ballot to an election official or                                  
06 any other person so as to enable any person to ascertain how the voter marked the                                       
07       ballot.                                                                                                           
08    * Sec. 2. AS 15.15.280 is amended by adding a new subsection to read:                                              
09            (b)  This section does not apply to a voter who                                                              
10                 (1)  requests assistance under AS 15.15.240; or                                                         
11                 (2)  shares a photo, video, or other image of the voter's marked ballot                                 
12       with another person or with the public.
