HCR 13: Suspending Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, concerning Senate Joint Resolution No. 16, expressing support for the Arctic Economic Council and the United States Arctic Economic Council delegation; requesting that the United States Congress express support for the Arctic Economic Council, for the chair of the Arctic Economic Council to be a resident of this state, and for the structure of the Arctic Economic Council leadership to mirror the rotation of the chair of the Arctic Council; and urging the United States Congress to empower residents of the state as partners in the Arctic Economic Council.

00 HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 13 01 Suspending Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State 02 Legislature, concerning Senate Joint Resolution No. 16, expressing support for the 03 Arctic Economic Council and the United States Arctic Economic Council delegation; 04 requesting that the United States Congress express support for the Arctic Economic 05 Council, for the chair of the Arctic Economic Council to be a resident of this state, and 06 for the structure of the Arctic Economic Council leadership to mirror the rotation of the 07 chair of the Arctic Council; and urging the United States Congress to empower residents 08 of the state as partners in the Arctic Economic Council. 09 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 10 That under Rules 49(a) and 54, Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, the 11 provisions of Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State 12 Legislature, regarding changes to the title of a bill, are suspended in consideration of Senate 13 Joint Resolution No. 16, expressing support for the Arctic Economic Council and the United 14 States Arctic Economic Council delegation; requesting that the United States Congress
