00 HOUSE BILL NO. 180 01 "An Act establishing the second Sunday of June each year as Children's Day." 02 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 03 * Section 1. AS 44.12 is amended by adding a new section to read: 04 Sec. 44.12.108. Children's Day. Children's Day is established on the second 05 Sunday of June of each year to honor Alaska children and to promote their value and 06 well-being in our communities. Children's Day may be observed by suitable 07 observances and activities by civic groups and the public.
