00 SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 18 01 Suspending Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State 02 Legislature, concerning House Joint Resolution No. 15, supporting the introduction and 03 enactment of federal legislation acknowledging that the federal government is 04 financially responsible under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act for the 05 remediation of contaminated land subject to conveyance under the Act. 06 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 07 That under Rules 49(a) and 54, Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, the 08 provisions of Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State 09 Legislature, regarding changes to the title of a bill, are suspended in consideration of House 10 Joint Resolution No. 15, supporting the introduction and enactment of federal legislation 11 acknowledging that the federal government is financially responsible under the Alaska Native 12 Claims Settlement Act for the remediation of contaminated land subject to conveyance under 13 the Act.
