01 Extending the termination date of the State Medical Board; relating to the executive secretary

04    * Section 1. AS 08.03.010(c)(12) is amended to read:                                                               
05                 (12)  State Medical Board (AS 08.64.010) - June 30, 2020 [2013];                                    
06    * Sec. 2. AS 08.64.103 is amended by adding a new subsection to read:                                              
07            (b)  The executive secretary is the principal executive officer of the board and                             
08       shall perform duties as prescribed by the board. The executive secretary is in the                                
09       partially exempt service under AS 39.25.120 and is entitled to receive a monthly                                  
10       salary equal to a step in Range 23 on the salary schedule set out in AS 39.27.011(a).                           
11    * Sec. 3. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
