01 Relating to establishing a House Special Committee on Energy.

03 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES:                                                                       
04      WHEREAS energy is one of the most significant issues of the state;                                               
05      BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives that a House Special Committee                                    
06 on Energy is established to study issues relating to energy use and energy development; and                             
07 be it                                                                                                                   
08      FURTHER RESOLVED that the Speaker of the House of Representatives shall                                          
09 determine the number of representatives to be members of the committee and shall appoint                                
10 the members and designate a member or members to chair the committee; and be it                                         
11      FURTHER RESOLVED that the House Special Committee on Energy may meet                                             
12 during and between sessions of the Twenty-Eighth Alaska State Legislature and is terminated                             
13 on the convening of the First Regular Session of the Twenty-Ninth Alaska State Legislature.
