01 "An Act establishing Alaska Mothers Day."                                                                               
02 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
03    * Section 1. AS 44.12 is amended by adding a new section to read:                                                  
04            Sec. 44.12.069. Alaska Mothers Day. Alaska Mothers Day is established on                                   
05       the second Sunday in May each year to honor the mothers in the state. Alaska Mothers                              
06       Day may be observed by suitable observances and exercises by civic groups and the                                 
07       public.
